Congratulations!

Hi there!!  I have a card to share that I made for some good friends of ours that just built a brand new home in Santa Cruz.  They had us and couple other friends over for a barbecue last weekend to see their GORGEOUS new home.  After the barbecue we took all the kids and walked to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and then had dinner on the wharf.  It was a great family day.

I used Inspired By Flowers 4 for my card.  The flower was colored with Copics and was cut out with Oval STAX Die-namics.  The sentiment is from Big Greetings and was stamped in Baja Breeze ink on a Fishtail Flags STAX and was finished with a Sno Cone Button.  The Double Scallop Border Die-namics made the scallops at the bottom.  The colors come from CR84FN61.  It has been FOREVER since I've done any sort of color challenge, but couldn't resist these gorgeous colors together.  The patterned paper is MME Indie Chic "Citron".

Here is the finished inside.  The flower was stamped in Baja Breeze Ink.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Paper:  Kraft (MFT), Vintage Cream, MME Indie Chic "Citron"
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze, Copic Markers
Accessories:  Die-namics Oval STAX, Fishtail Flags STAX and Double Scallop Border (all MFT), Sno Cone Buttons, Linen Thread, Sewing Machine, Foam Tape

Lovely card! Your flower is beautifully colored. Oh, how I miss laying on the beach in Santa Cruz. Ahhhh, those were the days. Since moving to them midwest, I am surrounded by corn and soybean fields, w/no mountains or water in sight. But ... family is close, which is more important. :)
